As a Senior Manager, Global Benefits, you will lead global analysis and benchmarking activities and recommend enhancements to ensure Alcon’s non‑insured benefit plans remain competitive and support equitable treatment across all geographies. This highly autonomous, global role provides governance and consistency for non‑insured benefit changes and additions proposed by regional benefits managers and leads the design, harmonization, modernization, documentation, and overall maintenance of non‑insured benefits. The Senior Manager , Global Benefits will lead and oversee global projects and recurring programs, including minimum benefits standards, EU Pay Transparency Directive initiatives as they relate to benefits, and process and operational optimization efforts (e.g., Elevate HR). This role also tracks, monitors, and updates financial assurance controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal processes, and cross‑functional dependencies, such as benefits and payroll. This position is based in Fort Worth, TX . In this role, a typical day will include: Benchmarking strategic analysis, driving change for market alignment. Provides strategic benefits analysis and recommends changes in coordination with regional benefits teams. Promotes, creates business cases, and executes identified opportunities for employee surveys to drive meaningful change in country -including conjoint and other studies. Oversee legal/statutory requirements and changes globally that impact benefits, coordinates regionally for execution and compliance. Manages global benefit programs applicable to all non-US sites, including coordination of contract renewals, plan changes and management of service issues with vendors. Drives international benefits pooling strategy globally, coordinates with regional benefits team and provides rationale for local business case and execution. Manage the execution of cross-region statutory requirements such as pay transparency in the EU, pay transparency globally (both as it relates to benefits), minimum benefit standards, etc. Oversee the management of all non-insured benefits (excluding retirement) leveraging regional benefit teams. Provides direction and is responsible for benefit analysis, harmonization, or other benefit activities related to M&A’s. Drives communication related to global benefit plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
