About The Position

As an GCE Sr. Manager - Global Standards Engineering, you’ll be part of our GCE (Global Capital Engineering) team. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our manufacturing processes and equipment are consistent, efficient, and of the highest quality and safety. You'll get to lead and support a team of engineers to baseline operations across multiple core competencies and identify where standardization will unlock operational efficiency and global consistency. You will oversee technical standards generation and ensure all comply with relevant industry regulations and requirements. You will work collaboratively with direct reports and cross-functional department leads to manage resources and project schedules to ensure timely delivery of identified standards. In conjunction with area leads, you will develop formatting and archiving systems to facilitate clear, concise and readily accessible global standards documentation. You will develop communication plans to disseminate global standards as they are created and to ensure acknowledgement of ownership for those responsible for implementation. You will implement digital tools as appropriate to facilitate strong communication of global standards. You will work closely with internal automation and functional safety system teams to stay aligned with changing best practices and ensure our global standards evolve with them. You will generate communication materials and facilitate education and training on newly established standards to our Manufacturing Operations organization. You will lead and develop safety risk engineers supporting new equipment introductions, ensuring machine safety assessments and risk reduction activities are completed in alignment with global standards and regulatory requirements. You will partner with engineering, automation, and manufacturing teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve equipment safety risks before deployment and production startup.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in an Engineering field or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Experience leading resources and technical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of various manufacturing processes and standards.
  • Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • The ability to work with a global team both in person and remotely.
  • Ability to process technical information and summarize effectively.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • A results-oriented mindset, driven to learn and accept challenges.
