Sr. Manager, Commercial Strategy - North America

HasbroRenton, WA
$120,500 - $180,700

About The Position

At Wizards of the Coast, we connect people around the world through play and imagination. From our genre-defining games like Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy to help answer those questions and shape the next phase of growth for Dungeons & Dragons in North America. This role connects franchise priorities to how D&D shows up in market. You'll own channel and account strategy across mass, specialty hobby, and eCommerce accounts — and work closely with Franchise, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Consumer Insights to turn plans into results.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years in commercial strategy, category management, or business planning, ideally within consumer products, retail, eCommerce, games, or entertainment.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to make clear recommendations despite competing priorities.
  • Experience building channel strategies and account plans across assortment, pricing and promotion, merchandising, and retail calendar planning.
  • A track record of leading cross-functional work and influencing Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Franchise stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Hobby or specialty retail experience is highly preferred.
  • Passion for games and Dungeons & Dragons is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Lead North America commercial strategy and annual planning for Dungeons & Dragons.
  • Set annual revenue and margin targets in partnership with Sales and own the plan to hit them.
  • Spot and size the next wave of growth opportunities — whether that's an underpenetrated channel, an emerging retailer, or a distribution model worth piloting.
  • Work with Trade Marketing to define how D&D shows up at retail — from fixture strategy to product positioning — to win more space and make better use of it.
  • Partner across teams to bring new products and initiatives to life in North American retail, and resolve blockers related to inventory, product transitions, and launch readiness.
  • Keep a sharp eye on performance — using scorecards, seasonal reviews, and launch retrospectives to understand what's working and move quickly on what isn't.

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Paid Vacation & Holidays
  • Generous 401(k) Match
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Volunteer & Employee Giving Programs
  • Tuition Reimbursement
