Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech The Sr. Manager of Business Intelligence at Johnson & Johnson MedTech would be supporting the Electrophysiology and Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart teams, and be a strategic leader responsible for guiding the development and execution of high impact cross-functional commercial initiatives. This role drives data-driven decision-making, optimizes operations, and enhances the organization’s capabilities through advanced analytics, reporting, and insights. This role is responsible for leading a team that partners with our commercial organization to hit our company strategic initiatives. Build and scale a centralized function that brings together market benchmarks, competitive intelligence, systems and analytics that drive strategy. You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Capital & Service, Sales Enablement, HR, IT, to create sustainable frameworks, monitor internal and external signals, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. This is a critical role to continue setting the standard for best-in-class commercial operations and strategy in MedTech.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Data Science, or related) preferred.
  • A visionary leader with 7+ years in BI, Commercial operations, Sales operations, or Data Analytics, including 3+ years in leadership roles preferably in commercial or engineering.
  • A master storyteller who translates complex data into clear actionable insights for executives.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and confident with the ability to influence decisions at the highest level.
  • Must be able to zoom in and zoom out effectively using data driven methods.
  • Must be able to gather competitive intelligence and understand how to create viable actions.
  • Expertise in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), data warehouses, and data management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of database management, SQL, and trends in big data analytics.
  • Deep expertise with Microsoft Office Suite application.
  • Forward thinker, including how to leverage LLM or related AI in the commercial space.

  • Experience with Python, SAP, Maximo, SaaS

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the organization's Business Intelligence (BI) roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with our commercial functions to drive alignment, planning, and execution of the most impactful projects for our organization.
  • Ability to turn ideas into concrete projects, with tangible benefits, on time. Implementing sustainable, scalable solutions, while maintaining agility to drive a dynamic business.
  • Create executive dashboards and self-serve analytics focused on market signals and competitive performance.
  • Translate complex data into clear stories for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Present insights and recommendations to the organization, including the field and commercial leaders.
  • Build and mentor a cross-functional team of analysts while fostering curiosity and accountability.
  • Oversee projects, dashboards, and analytics while ensuring data quality, scalability, and cost efficiency.
