About The Position

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr Maintenance Technician to resolve critical and complex facility issues, manage medium to large facility projects, and lead facility-related design and construction projects. This role involves managing energy conservation programs, investigating incidents, and overseeing project schedules and budgets. The technician will also identify and evaluate vendors for facility services and repairs, and consult management on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) matters. Key responsibilities include managing emergency preparedness, contractor safety, environmental compliance, and operational safety programs, as well as supporting business continuity and uptime assurance processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experience OR any degree or certification above a High School Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related work experience OR 5 years of related work experience.
  • Safe Drivers needed; valid driver's license required
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve critical and complex facility issues escalated from technicians, customers, and contractors.
  • Manage medium to large facility projects.
  • Lead and evaluate facility-related design and construction projects.
  • Manage energy conservation programs and track utility usage and costs.
  • Investigate incidents and facilitate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Identify and evaluate vendors for facility services and repairs.
  • Consult management regarding environmental, health and safety (EHS) matters.
  • Manage emergency preparedness, contractor safety, environmental compliance, and operational safety programs.
  • Support business continuity and uptime assurance processes.
