About The Position

The Sr. Maintenance Electrician assists with keeping the facilities’ electrical gear reliable and in good repair. The role performs moderately difficult general and preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, building repairs, and general construction duties; maintains required service and maintenance records; and assists in training team members. The position also performs electrical gear repairs and services, participates in equipment installations and facility projects, and maintains the tools and supplies needed for the work.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and must be at least 21 years of age.
Limited Maintenance Electrician license required in Oregon.

Nice To Haves

High school education, GED, or equivalent.
Associate’s or technical degree, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Five years of relevant industrial or commercial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Plan and perform moderately difficult electrical gear equipment repairs and services, and participate in equipment installations as needed.
Alter and repair machinery, equipment, or facilities in accordance with basic skills and abilities, standard procedures, diagrams, or manufacturers’ instructions.
Plan and perform routine general building maintenance repairs and services, including setting up and installing furniture.
Participate as needed in major renovations, new construction, and alterations.
Inspect equipment and perform preventative maintenance and required safety tests; correct problems or promptly report equipment or system operation problems to the supervisor.
Contact outside service assistance for major equipment failures beyond the employee’s skill level.
Assist in training and mentoring junior employees.
Maintain records of service cycles and other maintenance activities, along with required preventative maintenance records, reports, and files.
Maintain tools and supplies necessary to perform duties.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
