The American Sign Language/English Interpreting Program of the University of New Hampshire at Manchester seeks applicants for a full-time, lecturer position to offer instruction as well as to serve as the ASL/English Interpreting program director. Our mission is to develop learners with the knowledge and skills to flourish in the academic environment and in employment. To this end, the position encompasses the need for excellence in instruction in skill-specific courses pertaining to interpreting as well as ethics and decision-making and other relevant topics. It requires knowledge and experience in pedagogy, scholarly and practical developments in the field, and with the past and current state of the U.S. Deaf community.
