Sr. Learning Architect, Amazon Leo
About The Position
Amazon Leo is seeking a Sr. Learning Solution Architect to own the technical backbone of their learning programs as they prepare to launch service and scale training operations. This role will focus on the external learning management systems (LMS) used to deliver training to customers, field service providers, and channel partners. The architect will be responsible for building application integrations, managing content distribution, and acting as the technical liaison between the L&D content team and the systems that deliver training to learners. This is a hands-on role that involves solving complex problems related to connecting LMS with other applications, managing content across multiple LMS with varying requirements, building reporting and analytics, and ensuring security compliance as the network scales globally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience with one or more of the following domains: systems administration (Linux/Window), network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing), or programming (Node.JS, Java, Ruby, C#, Python, or PHP)
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
- Familiarity with Articulate Rise 360/Reach360
Nice To Haves
- Experience managing external vendors, distributors, partners or learning providers
- Knowledge of technologies such as JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, Responsive/Adaptive Design
- Experience in a multi-language publishing environment, including globalization for translation
- Experience designing for accessibility and inclusivity
- Experience working with global teams and diverse partners
- Experience with LMS-to-CRM data sync architectures, middleware, or integration systems
Responsibilities
- Own and operate the external learning management systems that deliver training to customers, field service providers, and channel partners.
- Build application integrations to sync learner progress, completion data, and enrollment status with CRM.
- Manage content packaging and distribution across multiple LMS with different technical and localization requirements.
- Build reporting and analytics pipelines to track customer activation and partner readiness.
- Ensure configurations, user provisioning, and security compliance are current as Leo scales.
- Own day-to-day administration of internal and external LMS.
- Manage user provisioning, role assignments, course enrollment, and access controls.
- Configure and maintain system settings, domain, and security policies.
- Monitor system health, resolve technical issues, and manage vendor support escalations.
- Configure federation between LMS and external customer portals.
- Manage content packaging, testing, and distribution, including cross-system delivery to partner-owned LMS environments.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, API errors, and content rendering issues.
- Publish and maintain training content across LMS, ensuring accurate metadata, course structure, language, and version control.
- Support distribution to different learner audiences with varying technical and localization requirements.
- Build and maintain LMS reporting dashboards tracking learner progress, completion rates, assessment scores, and engagement metrics.
- Deliver regular analytics to L&D leadership and sales operations.
- Manage security compliance requirements, including access audits, data handling policies, and annual system reviews.
- Document system configurations, integration architectures, and standard operating procedures.
