Requirements

  • Senior full-stack network engineering expertise and technical program leadership across campus, data center, and WAN, including routing and switching, segmentation, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
  • Proven ability to lead architecture and design, guide implementation, and own outcomes end-to-end for major initiatives.
  • Strong customer presence and stakeholder management; ability to remain credible, calm, and service-oriented in high-visibility situations and translate complex technical topics into clear options, impacts, and recommendations.
  • Ability to mentor and collaborate across teams, improve operational discipline, coach engineers, and align security, infrastructure, and vendor teams to sustain outcomes.
  • Expert incident and problem leadership, including triage, responder coordination, deep technical analysis, root-cause analysis, and prevention planning.
  • Operational rigor and an automation mindset, with advocacy for observability and repeatable operations to reduce toil and improve stability.
  • Knowledge of one or more infrastructure engineering areas, such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in infrastructure engineering workflows, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalate uncertainty, and ensure outcomes meet resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
  • Adeptness in specific infrastructure technology and programming languages.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.

Nice To Haves
