About The Position

Work onsite as part of a dynamic team dedicated to developing purification methods for oligonucleotides. Perform and document purification, downstream processing, characterization, and final formulation of various oligonucleotides using laboratory instruments such as HPLC and UV-VIS. Assist with new platform development, scale-up activities, and troubleshooting in the Oligonucleotide Manufacturing group. The role also includes production and production-support duties, quality assurance for production and laboratory testing, inventory and purchasing tasks, data entry, documentation, equipment compliance coordination, training, and participation in experiments and procedure development.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow SOPs, safety regulations, and cGMPs.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
Comfort communicating with internal groups about equipment compliance.
Willingness to participate in training and assist with experiment design.
Associate degree in a science-related field.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform and oversee production and production-support duties for Operations, ensuring the quality of production and laboratory testing.
Perform and document purification, downstream processing, characterization, and final formulation of oligonucleotides using laboratory instruments.
Follow departmental work instructions, SOPs, OSHA safety regulations, and cGMPs.
Monitor laboratory supply inventory and generate expense purchase requisitions.
Input production data into SAP/LIMS and maintain documentation.
Interface with internal groups to ensure laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, and documentation conform to established practices.
Attend required training and participate in on-the-job training.
Participate in experiment design and organization with a supervisor; provide input for experimental protocols, investigations, and reports.
Provide input on improving laboratory procedures; assist with developing and evaluating procedures, products, and equipment; and help generate SOPs.
Assist with new platform development, scale-up activities, and troubleshooting in the Oligonucleotide Manufacturing group.
Perform other duties as assigned.
