Requirements

• 5–8 years of full-stack application development with a backend emphasis
• Strong fundamentals in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development
• Experience with React (latest version) and Angular for UI development
• Proficiency in SQL (SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY, ORDER BY) and relational database concepts
• Familiarity with IDEs (IntelliJ, VS Code, Eclipse) and Git workflows
• Understanding of basic microservices, messaging (Kafka/JMS), and CI/CD processes
• Ability to work onsite in Jersey City, NJ or Coppell, TX 3 days/week (hybrid model)
• Must be eligible to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS), containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Practical experience in Agile methodologies and strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and apply microservices principles (service boundaries, configuration, logging)
• Contribute to solutions leveraging messaging technologies (Kafka, JMS)
• Implement structured logging and robust error handling in backend systems
• Develop and integrate UI components using React and Angular
• Connect frontend applications to backend APIs, ensuring seamless data flow
• Write and optimize SQL queries, understand relational database fundamentals (tables, indexes, keys)
• Use modern IDEs (IntelliJ, VS Code, Eclipse) and Git for version control
• Create and maintain unit tests (JUnit, Jest) and support CI/CD pipelines
• Adhere to engineering standards, security, and compliance protocols
• Collaborate within Agile teams, taking ownership of stories and delivering on sprint commitments
