About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Java technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for developing scalable, high-performance applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Java-based solutions that meet business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proven experience with Java SE/EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful web services.
• Experience with databases like MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and other web technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications, including front-end and back-end components.
• Architect and implement scalable and robust solutions using Java and associated technologies.
• Collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Analyze and improve application performance, including database queries and application code.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and apply them to current projects.
