This job manages the entire lifecycle of a specific information services project. Assigns personnel to various projects; directs or coordinates their activities; interfaces activities of development team with all other departments and vendors; prepares activity and progress reports; and provides general consulting and problem-solving services. Acts a single point of contact for various departments to ensure coordination among the departments and maintain overall responsibility for project deliverables while upholding project management standards and best practices. Coaches, leads, and mentors project management staff including evaluation and delegation of project tasks. Works in tandem with program and project leadership to establish practices, templates, policies, resource management, tools and highly visible project reporting and presentations.
