Sr. Internal Communications Manager
About The Position
Samsara is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join its Communications team and help shape internal communications for a high-growth organization. The role partners closely with the Head of Internal Communications and teams across the company to communicate the company’s vision and strategy, show progress throughout the year, amplify the global brand, and support business needs. The position covers a broad range of communications, including newsletters, large-scale employee meetings, change management, program communications, organizational announcements, and video. The manager will monitor employee feedback and improve communications channels and updates over time, while championing Samsara’s cultural principles. This is a remote position for candidates residing in the United States, with specified location exclusions. The role offers an annual base salary of $95,200–$128,000, with the applicable range dependent on the employee’s primary work location. It is also eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff and ongoing performance-linked refresh opportunities, subject to plan terms. Samsara describes its total rewards as including base pay, performance-based bonus or variable pay, and equity for eligible roles, as well as a flexible employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, and comprehensive health and parental leave plans.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in internal communications, building and executing strategic internal communications programs.
- Excellent written, verbal, visual, storytelling, and presentation skills, including experience creating content across a variety of channels.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally and a proven track record of working across teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with continuous change.
- Curiosity about AI and regular use of AI tools for tasks such as drafting, synthesizing, or automating, with enthusiasm for continued learning.

Responsibilities
- Execute Samsara’s internal communications strategy, communicating company vision and strategy to employees and demonstrating progress throughout the year.
- Amplify Samsara’s global brand and support business needs through internal communications.
- Partner with leadership, the People team, Legal, Go-to-Market, and other stakeholders on a wide range of communications.
- Create and deliver communications such as change and organizational announcements, newsletters, and videos.
- Monitor organizational feedback and use feedback loops to improve communications updates and channels.
