About The Position
The Sr Internal Auditor, IT supports the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance process and special projects in a dynamic business environment across functions and organizational levels. The role partners with control owners and stakeholders to assess control design and operating effectiveness, identify control deficiencies, support remediation efforts, and maintain compliance with SOX requirements. The position is part of the Internal Audit Team, based in Irvine, California, and is on-site.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of IT audit-related experience, with an emphasis on Sarbanes-Oxley testing.
- Strong knowledge of COSO and COBIT frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
Nice To Haves
- CISA or equivalent certification preferred; CIA is a plus.
- Experience with a Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm is a plus.
- IT audit experience related to Oracle Fusion is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and perform testing of IT SOX controls, including assessments of control design and operating effectiveness.
- Evaluate control evidence and testing results to determine compliance with established control objectives and SOX requirements.
- Prepare documentation supporting work performed, including narratives, flowcharts, control matrices, segregation of duties analyses, and audit reports.
