The Learning Care Talent Development team is seeking an experienced Sr. Instructional Designer to lead curriculum development for one or more programs. This program level leader must be able to think outside the tactical and task execution and be able to see the whole learning landscape for our partners. As they look across this landscape, can design, develop, delivery and strategize to meet business needs for their programs. Programs consist of the whole curriculum from New Hire to tenured leader and all updates, new work, and maintenance that they may require. While you will have help, the end results and overall program performance will live with this role. Support can be local, or virtual depending on the role’s location and the needs and the projects. The ideal candidate will be able to apply advanced adult learning theories into a practical application-based training strategy. Controlling the overall curriculum design for the programs they manage while leading and managing support teams to execute and develop to that strategy. Collaborating closely with the other team members in the network, driving results and innovation, and successfully executing both tactical and strategic initiatives will be a key to your success in delivering consistent training experience. The current strategy blends the best elements of e-learning, instructor lead training, small group activities, peer learning and mentoring to train call center staff. The training programs you manage/design/build/implement in this role will directly impact the success of Learning Care, our schools and our families. The goal of all programs you will work on will be to deliver the highest possible customer satisfaction results and operational KPI’s. The successful candidate will have experience in conducting training using the ADDIE model and be able to naturally work within all the phases of it. A critical aspect of this role is using data to support learning interventions. The right candidate will have the ability to influence and drive results in a highly collaborative environment while performance consulting with key business leaders on their long-term business wants. As a Sr. Instructional Designer, the right candidate would possess the ability to communicate up and out to teams who are not learning centric, doing so crisply and clearly. Making ties to business successes and metrics will matter more than if it is only the right ‘theory’ or ‘theoretically correct,’ in other words results tied to the project objectives will be the litmus test for success. As leader in the training space this role will need to evolve the programs it owns and achieve true results tied to key business metrics.
