The position involves developing strategies for growth in key locations for interconnect capacity, building business partnerships, and defining technical approaches to improve resiliency, scalability, cost, and performance. Key deliverables include action plans for addressing short-term constraints and initiating long-lead work for future growth and network optimization. Technical Infrastructure Program Managers in the Internet Edge organization play a crucial role in evolving routing policy, implementing traffic engineering solutions, growing peering footprints, securing the internet 'front door,' and architecting hardware platforms and network designs. They manage terabits of traffic, ensuring capacity stays ahead of demand by collaborating with diverse partner teams to automate and improve internet connectivity in areas like capacity delivery, configuration deployment, impairment detection, and traffic optimization. Decisions made in this role have significant impact across all of Amazon's products.
