About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr II Developer - Epic Reporting. In this role, the successful IT professional will apply technical expertise in one or more IT disciplines. Collects and manages information by organizing and controlling the structure, processing and delivery of information. Receives general direction, work in progress is reviewed routinely.

Requirements

• Typically requires 4 or more years of experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent
• Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Aligns business and IT strategies, and complies with MCITs architectural standards.
• Participates in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and/or supporting application software.
• Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
• Participates in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy versus build recommendations.
• Participates in systems analysis and design using development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
• Independently designs technical solutions for modules of a project, or to resolve most problems.
• Selects appropriate work procedures or approaches to address technical challenges.
