About The Position

The Data Reporting Developer will be responsible for providing and validating data feeds on a daily basis related to our Reporting processes. This position will be with National Indemnity Company (NICO) in Omaha, NE, operating in a hybrid 50% in-office work environment. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, business analytics, MIS, mathematics, or related field
Database manipulation software and/or software application development experience (ex. .NET, SQL, Python, etc.)
Fundamental knowledge of SQL
1 or more years related work experience

Nice To Haves

Someone who maintains and creates clear and accurate documentation for software applications and processes
Someone experienced with Power BI, Azure, or ETL
Someone with strong problem-solving skills
Someone with excellent oral and written communication

Responsibilities

Develop data Reports and applications
Vet and validate the work of other data reporting developers to ensure data integrity
Interact with business partners outside of the group and maintain good relationships with them
Actively participate in Agile Ceremonies and discussions by regularly listening, asking questions, and collaborating
Identify slow processes and potential issues with ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes and makes suggestions for improvement
