About The Position

The Senior HR Coordinator provides advanced administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function. This role ensures smooth execution of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, HRIS management, compliance, and employee support. The position serves as a key liaison between employees, managers, and HR leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of HR coordination or generalist experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment law basics
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom, Workday, ADP, BambooHR)
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving, data analysis and critical thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • HR Operations & Administration Coordinate and execute day-to-day HR operations with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Maintain and audit employee records in HRIS systems
  • Track and manage HR metrics and reporting
  • Assist with maintaining standard operating procedures for core HR processes
  • Lead onboarding logistics (offer letters, background checks, orientation scheduling)
  • Update onboarding templates and state required new hire documents as needed
  • Ensure new hires have a smooth and compliant onboarding experience
  • Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews, documentation and state required notices
  • Analyze exit interview feedback and identify trends to provide actionable insights to HR leadership
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Escalate complex issues to HR Business Partners or leadership as needed
  • Support employee relations documentation and follow-up
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Administer and audit Form I-9 processes, including E-Verify where applicable, ensuring proper completion, re-verification, and retention
  • Assist with audits and compliance reporting
  • Support benefits enrollment and changes
  • Coordinate and track employee leave of absences, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, short-term disability, and applicable state leave programs
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation, eligibility tracking, and communication throughout the leave process
  • Identify inefficiencies in HR workflows and recommend scalable process improvements to enhance accuracy, compliance, and employee experience
  • Support HR initiatives such as performance management cycles, engagement surveys, and training programs
  • Assist with implementation of new HR systems or tools
