About The Position

The Senior Director, HRIS is responsible for the strategic leadership, governance, optimization, and ongoing support of the companys Human Resources Information Systems with Workday serving as the primary HCM platform. This role leads the HR technology strategy, drives system enhancements, ensures data integrity and compliance, and partners closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT and other business stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and compliant HR systems solutions.

Requirements

  • 10 years of progressive HRIS, HR technology, or enterprise systems experience
  • 5 years leadership experience managing HRIS/IT teams and large –scale HR systems initiatives
  • Experience supporting multiple HR functional areas such as compensation, benefits, payroll, talent, recruiting, and time/absence
  • Demonstrated success leading HR technology strategy, governance, controls and compliance considerations

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the overall HR systems strategy aligned with business and HR priorities.
  • Serve as the senior functional and strategic leader for Workday and related HR technology platforms
  • Build and maintain a multi-year HRIS roadmap, including system enhancements, new functionality, process automation and optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with executive leadership, HR Centers of Excellence, IT, Payroll, Finance, and Compliance teams to prioritize and deliver system solutions.
  • Own the ongoing administration, optimization and governance of Workday HCM and related modules which may include: Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, Learning, Time Tracking, Payroll interface/integrations, Security, reporting and dashboards
  • Direct Workday configuration strategy and change management to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant , and aligned with business processes
  • Oversee Workday releases, feature adoption, regression testing, and impact assessments
  • Ensure effective system documentation, process maps, data standards, and governance controls
