We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Analyst to join our HR Technology team and serve as a key functional and technical resource for our Workday environment. This role is responsible for the configuration, administration, optimization, support, and continuous improvement of Workday Benefits, Compensation and Reporting across multiple functional areas, as well as strong demonstrated experience supporting Workday integrations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Workday professional with strong configuration experience who can independently analyze business needs, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop effective and scalable Workday solutions. This individual should be comfortable working across multiple Workday modules and understand how configuration changes may impact business processes, security, integrations, data, and downstream systems. Ideal candidate will also have experience supporting Workday integrations using technologies such as EIBs, Core Connectors, Web Services/APIs, Workday Studio, or similar integration technologies. The Senior Workday Analyst will partner closely with HR, HRIS, Benefits, Talent, IT, Centers of Excellence, and other business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system solutions and deliver enhancements through an established three-week sprint cycle.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on Workday experience in an HRIS, Workday Analyst, Workday Consultant, or similar role.
Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting Workday Benefits, Compensation and VNDLY
Experience supporting Workday integrations using technologies such as EIBs, Core Connectors, Web Services/APIs, Workday Studio, or similar integration technologies
Workday reporting experience, including Advanced or Matrix reports, calculated fields, dashboards, Discovery Boards, or related reporting functionality.
Strong understanding of Workday HCM, business processes, and core HR functionality is required
Experience configuring Workday business processes, condition rules, validations, notifications, eligibility rules, organizations, or related functionality.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex Workday configuration, business process, integration, security, and data issues.
Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective Workday solutions.
Experience supporting Workday system enhancements, testing, releases, and production deployments.
Ability to assess the potential impact of system and configuration changes across Workday functional areas and downstream processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to independently research issues, identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while working collaboratively within an HRIS and cross-functional environment.
Bachelor’s degree in technology/HRIS or related field or equivalent experience required

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday functionality across multiple functional HCM areas, with a focus on Benefits, Compensation, Reporting and Integrations
Configure and maintain Workday business processes, organizations, condition rules, validations, notifications, eligibility rules, security, and other related system functionality.
Partner with HR, Centers of Excellence, IT, and other business stakeholders to gather and document requirements and translate business needs into effective Workday solutions.
Evaluate business requests and recommend solutions that appropriately leverage Workday functionality while aligning with organizational standards and business objectives.
Analyze existing Workday configurations and business processes to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, simplification, and improved employee and HR experiences.
Troubleshoot complex Workday configuration, business process, security, integration, and data-related issues; perform root-cause analysis and recommend sustainable solutions.
Assess the potential cross-functional and downstream impacts of configuration changes and enhancements before implementing solutions.
Support Workday integrations with internal and external systems, including maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and enhancements. Work with technologies such as EIBs, Core Connectors, Web Services/APIs, Workday Studio, or similar integration technologies as applicable.
Partner with technical teams, vendors, and third-party providers to troubleshoot integration issues, understand data flows and dependencies, and resolve system or data issues.
Support Workday enhancements and new functionality from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, and production deployment.
Perform impact analysis for configuration changes, system enhancements, integrations, and new Workday functionality.
Develop and execute test scenarios and scripts for configuration changes, enhancements, integrations, and system updates, including unit testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
Participate in Workday release reviews, evaluate new functionality and potential business impacts, and recommend opportunities for adoption and system optimization.
Work within an established three-week sprint cycle to prioritize and deliver configuration changes, enhancements, issue resolution, testing, and other HR technology initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation of business requirements, system configurations, testing, processes, and implemented changes.
Serve as a senior Workday resource and trusted advisor for complex system questions, troubleshooting, configuration decisions, and solution recommendations.
Support Workday reporting needs as applicable, including assisting with reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and other Workday reporting functionality.
Collaborate with HRIS team members and cross-functional partners to ensure Workday solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.
Independently research issues, identify root causes, evaluate solution options, and manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results.
