Sr. Guidewire Developer
About The Position
Our client, a large and well-established organization within the insurance industry, is seeking a Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer to join a high-performing technology team supporting enterprise insurance platforms and strategic modernization initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with strong Guidewire and Java expertise who can quickly contribute to application enhancements, integrations, and ongoing transformation projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Guidewire applications while helping prepare for future cloud migration efforts.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing within the Guidewire ecosystem
- Strong experience configuring and customizing Guidewire applications
- Experience supporting enterprise-level Guidewire implementations and integrations
- Solid understanding of Guidewire architecture and platform capabilities
- Direct experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter
- Strong Java development with object-oriented programming expertise
- Experience developing, troubleshooting, and enhancing complex Java applications
- Experience working with modern Java versions (Java 8+ preferred)
- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services
- Experience developing APIs and system-to-system integrations
- Knowledge of Guidewire messaging and integration frameworks

- Guidewire PolicyCenter experience
- Guidewire Cloud experience and/or certifications
- Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java-based applications and services
- Configure, customize, and enhance Guidewire applications to support business needs
- Develop and maintain integrations between Guidewire and internal/external systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and production issues
- Participate in solution design, technical analysis, and development activities
- Support enterprise application modernization and transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with architects, developers, technical leads, and business stakeholders
- Contribute to cloud migration and platform modernization efforts
- Build and support integrations with third-party vendors and enterprise platforms
- Deliver scalable, high-quality solutions within project timelines
