About The Position

Community Phone is addressing the communication challenges faced by seniors in America, aiming to reduce isolation and anxiety for both seniors and their families. The company has developed a simple phone service, enhanced with AI-powered check-in calls and a family app, to provide safety and peace of mind. With a strong existing customer base and significant revenue, the company is seeking a Sr Growth Product Manager to build and own the expansion revenue motion from scratch. This role involves identifying triggers, designing experiments, creating lifecycle sequences, and optimizing in-product moments to upsell existing customers into new products. The goal is to build a system that monetizes future offerings as the company expands its platform for aging in place.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product experience, with at least 3 years in a growth or monetization role.
  • Experience in consumer subscription businesses (not just B2B SaaS).
  • Proven ability to run PLG or lifecycle-driven upsell experiments.
  • Ability to build a basic experiment framework and interpret results independently.
  • Comfort working without a dedicated engineering team, prioritizing leverage in copy, sequencing, onboarding design, and pricing.
  • Experience owning a revenue metric and being accountable for a specific number.
  • Ability to develop intuition for a senior or caregiver audience and design upsell moments that feel helpful, not pressured.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias toward action.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to understand fine distinctions quickly.
  • Ability to pull data, listen to calls, and talk to customers to diagnose funnel issues within the first week.
  • Ability to develop a clear point of view on sub-funnels and their performance by day 60.
  • Ability to present a live forecast and clear point of view at the 90-day review.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a first growth hire at a Unicorn company.
  • Experience as a former founder.

Responsibilities

  • Own expansion revenue from the consumer subscriber base, measured in ARR.
  • Develop the full upsell motion, including trigger identification, experiment design, in-product nudges, lifecycle sequences, pricing page, and onboarding flows.
  • Create and manage a prioritized roadmap of PLG experiments, utilizing shared engineering resources and prioritizing non-engineering levers.
  • Establish and maintain a reporting and learning loop to continuously improve experiment effectiveness.
  • Diagnose and address the reasons why customers are not upgrading.
  • Design and launch the first experiment within 15 days.
  • Map and measure all sub-funnels within the expansion motion, developing a clear point of view on their performance.
  • Continuously ship hypotheses into momentum-driving sub-funnels.
  • Focus on actual expansion ARR as the primary measure of success.
  • Accelerate the growth system by increasing experiment velocity, refining prioritization, and making strategic engineering bets.
  • Develop a clear forecast and backlog based on conviction about leverage points.

Benefits

  • High visibility to the CEO.
  • Opportunity to own a number that matters.
  • Opportunity to build something from scratch.
  • Work at a company with a mission you can feel.
