The Department of Internal Medicine Office of Research is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sr. Grants Coordinator to support the Department's sponsored research activities. This position provides administrative and coordination support throughout the grant lifecycle, assisting faculty investigators and research teams with proposal preparation, submission tracking, award administration, and research operations. The Sr. Grants Coordinator serves as a liaison among faculty, departmental staff, collaborating institutions, and central research administration offices to facilitate timely proposal submissions and effective award management. Responsibilities include assisting with grant proposal assembly, maintaining proposal and award tracking systems, coordinating communications and deadlines, managing grant-related documentation, supporting post-award administrative activities, and assisting with departmental research initiatives and special projects. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, demonstrate attention to detail, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced research environment. This position plays an important role in supporting the Department's research mission and ensuring compliance with sponsor and institutional requirements.
