About The Position

We are looking for a Sr. Full Stack Java Developer specializing in AI-assisted development. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience, is a strong problem solver with excellent analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills, and brings a forward-thinking, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate ideas clearly. The role requires strong proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or similar coding agents, to improve efficiency, code quality, and delivery timelines. A strong technical foundation is needed to generate, validate, and deliver production-ready code. The position requires the candidate to be local to Michigan for on-site interviews and on-site work. W2 only; C2C and third-party submissions are not accepted.

Requirements

At least 8 years of experience.
Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot for code generation, debugging, and optimization.
Ability to write, refine, and iterate prompts to guide AI tools for development tasks.
Experience validating AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and security.
Core Java.
Java EE.
RESTful microservices.
Jersey.
SQL and PL/SQL.
Oracle Database.
Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js.
HTML and CSS.
Deep understanding of the JVM and performance profiling.
Must be local to Michigan for on-site interviews and on-site work.
