About The Position

Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is a third-party logistics provider offering supply chain services. The operation is based in Peoria, Illinois, and supports CAT’s material flow needs. It manages and operates a warehouse facility providing pick and pack, sequencing, inventory management, and daily production support. The Senior Floor Supervisor leads and supports warehouse associates during a shift, ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe completion of work. The role monitors productivity, quality, and safety; trains and develops team members; coordinates shipments; and supports daily warehouse operations and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic warehouse systems.
Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude.
0–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or transportation operations.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent experience is also considered.

Responsibilities

Lead and support warehouse associates during the shift, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely.
Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards to keep operations running smoothly.
Train, coach, and develop team members to meet performance goals.
Address employee questions, concerns, and performance issues in real time.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support daily workflow.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Enforce company policies, processes, and safety expectations.
Partner with leadership and other departments to resolve operational issues.
Complete daily reporting on labor, workflow, and productivity.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.
