About The Position

The Sr. Fleet Operations & Purchasing Analyst is responsible for supporting Home Depot Equipment Services (HDES) through fleet management, parts procurement, inventory management, purchasing activities, replenishment programs, and operational support initiatives. This role serves as a key partner across Fleet Management, Purchasing, Vendor Management, and Field Operations to ensure fleet assets, parts inventory, and related operational resources are deployed, maintained, and managed effectively. The position supports vehicle deployments, fleet lifecycle management, fleet financials and Total Cost of Ownership analysis, vehicle specifications, warranty processing, Samsara hardware procurement, purchasing activities, vendor relationships, technician stock replenishment, inventory accuracy, and parts-related issue resolution. Through data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration, this role helps improve fleet readiness, asset utilization, technician productivity, inventory health, operational efficiency, and overall service performance across the HDES network.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
• 3 years of work experience
• Experience leading high performing teams
• Consulting management and/or project management.
• Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis
• Problem solving
• Strong Operations, Retail and/or field knowledge

Nice To Haves

• A Master's Degree is preferred.
• 5 years of work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Teams of Analysts and other associates
• Perform data gathering tasks, synthesis - develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization
• Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize.
• Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors.
• Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.
