About The Position

Performs analyses in support of business unit goals and initiatives. Supports business units in developing and reporting budgets, forecasts, investments, and related processes, while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations. Operates under general supervision. Provides analytical support for budgets, forecasts, investments, and business initiatives; conducts variance analysis; and supports accurate forecasting and internal reporting of Operations and Maintenance and capital budgets. Provides timely insight into potential risks and opportunities and assists with short- and long-term business plans that support the corporate strategic plan. Contributes to performance improvement through reporting performance and productivity metrics, participating in process improvement teams, and supporting benchmarking initiatives. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations, including SOX, and provides analytical support for regulatory filings. Conducts ad hoc analyses and prepares reports and exhibits as needed. Performs related duties as assigned. Depending on applicants’ qualifications, the position may be filled at a lower level.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited school and 4–6 years of related experience; candidates without a bachelor’s degree must have at least 8 years of related work experience.
Demonstrated technical knowledge of financial analysis and processes.
Demonstrated ability to work with managers throughout the company in analyzing financial situations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
Demonstrated planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion.
Experience with PCs and word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.

Responsibilities

Provide analytical support to business units in developing and reporting budgets, forecasts, investments, and related processes and initiatives.
