About The Position

The Retail Business Specialist supports the West Region by maintaining Retail department budgets and handling administrative tasks. Budget maintenance is the primary responsibility, including tracking, processing, and monitoring departmental expenses accurately and coordinating with departments within Van Cleef & Arpels and Richemont. The specialist will also establish processes and dashboards to improve precision. This role reports to the Regional AVP and is based in New York City, despite the listing title referencing Las Vegas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Strong aptitude for working with figures and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and Excel skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Accounting experience.
• Previous knowledge of SAP.
• Comfort with BI reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor actual spending against plan on an ongoing basis, including benchmark analysis and reconciliation with the finance department.
• Support the Retail team in communicating and coordinating with vendors and internal and external partners.
• Create and monitor purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
• Track and update budget tools for all projects.
• Ensure timely invoice payment and accurate tracking and reporting.
• Communicate budget status frequently to each department head.
• Track participants’ expenses and ensure the correct cost functions are used.
• Reconcile and reclassify expenses in partnership with the finance team.
• Complete ad hoc projects to support and streamline processes.
