About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and will have a strong work ethic. The SFA is expected to provide decision makers with the financial analysis and perspective necessary to make optimal financial and business decisions. The SFA’s primary responsibilities include performing financial analysis, valuation, and modeling exercises to inform decisions related to the following functions: long-term strategic planning, investor relations, capital markets, commercial negotiations, and M&A. To be effective in this role and serve as a leader to other financial analysts across the organization, this teammate will have to be collaborative while demonstrating strong analytical and communication skills, and a keen business acumen.

Requirements

  • Represents finance as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cross-functional projects and serves as a leader to other financial analysts across the organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics preferred
  • 5+ of experience in accounting, finance, business, or economics
  • Experience with financial analysis, valuation, modeling, visualization, and forecasting
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Performs financial analysis, valuation, and modeling exercises to inform financial, strategic, and commercial decision making.
  • Collaborates with teams across the business to gather key assumptions and represent finance as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cross-functional projects.
  • Owns, maintains, and continuously improves Crown Castle’s long-term corporate model, which is an instrumental tool in all transformative or large-scale strategic and financial decisions.
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis as needed and presents findings to senior management.
