Requirements

  • B.A/B.S degree in accounting or finance
  • Relevant Finance experience (including FP&A experience)
  • financial valuation experience a plus
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management and organizational skills
  • Superior leadership skills with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for results
  • Experienced in collaborating across departments/business units and driving results through collaboration
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; tailors message by audience, negotiate consequences, handle crisis, setbacks and conflicts constructively and diplomatically, and provide essential information to the right people at the right time; relationship-building aptitude

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Remodels business team to drive financial outcomes that support the long-term health and evolution of Target’s store fleet
  • Deliver actionable financial insights and recommendations to inform strategic remodel investments with the goal to improve returns and optimize costs through collaboration with cross-functional partners in Properties, Real Estate, Store Operations, Construction, Accounting, and Capital Finance
  • Assist in Capital Forum preparation for Remodel investments
  • Own financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for Target’s annual Remodels capital program, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and alignment with enterprise capital goals
  • Support program-level forecasting and project-level analysis to monitor in-year performance and assess return on investment
  • Build, maintain, and improve financial models and reporting tools to enable effective decision-making and visibility across varying levels of leadership including annual refresh of the Remodel valuation model
  • Identify and drive opportunities to streamline processes, enhance automation, and improve efficiency across Remodels financial operations
  • Contribute to broader Store Valuation initiatives, including financial assessments of reinvestment strategies and capital prioritization
