Under the supervision of the Discovery Science Administrator, this role provides financial support to the Chairs, Administrator, and Principal Investigators (PIs). The support includes grant budget development, ensuring compliance with internal and external financial controls, grant financial reporting, expense tracking, projections, and management, and assistance with the preparation and submission of funding applications. The position ensures that PIs have the necessary information to effectively manage their expense and grant budgets. It anticipates and responds to customer needs by providing accurate, timely, and complete financial information on a regular and as-needed basis. The role requires advanced use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and InfoEd.
