About The Position

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Business & Performance Insights plays a highly visible, high‑impact role supporting a fast‑growing and evolving business. Partnering closely with regional leaders and cross‑functional teams, this analyst delivers forward‑looking financial and operational insights that inform decisions, drive performance, and accelerate growth across the region. In this role, you will transform complex data into clear, compelling insights through advanced modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. You’ll go beyond reporting—proactively identifying trends, uncovering opportunities and risks, and bringing recommendations forward to help leaders focus resources and improve results. Your work will directly influence key initiatives across MDU Operations, Network Expansion, Growth and Risk Case Studies, Sales Channel Goaling and Performance Tracking, Bulk and Growth Analytics, Subscriber Trends, Sales Commissions, Customer Experience opportunities, and Residential Growth efforts. A core focus of this position is enabling strong execution in the field. By building scalable analytics, enhancing performance measurement, and strengthening accountability, you’ll equip sales and operational teams with the financial intelligence they need to deliver against ambitious goals. As a trusted advisor, you’ll collaborate across teams, communicate with confidence, and help shape how the business measures success and drives sustained performance. This role is based in our St. Paul, MN (RPP) and follows a hybrid schedule, with an expectation of working onsite four days per week and remotely one day per week.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and related performance insights.
  • Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and recurring reports.
  • Conduct analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across products, markets, and customer segments.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Provide financial support for MDU Operations, Network Expansion, and Residential Growth efforts.
  • Develop growth and risk case studies and conduct scenario modeling.
  • Lead sales channel goaling, pacing visibility, and performance tracking.
  • Analyze bulk performance, subscriber trends, demographics, and competitive dynamics.
  • Support commissions and incentive tracking, ensuring accuracy and alignment with performance.
  • Evaluate customer experience initiatives and model financial impacts.
  • Partner closely with sales teams to align goals, pacing, and performance expectations.
  • Provide insights and tools that support execution and drive regional results.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Network, FP&A, and business leadership to support strategic priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and act as a connector across the organization.
  • Present findings clearly to leadership using strong data storytelling and communication skills.
  • Support junior analysts by sharing best practices and subject‑matter expertise.
  • Exercise independent judgment, manage competing priorities, and maintain high accuracy in deliverables.
