About The Position

The Sr. Finance Analyst/Accountant supports business operations through the preparation of annual budgets for various departments and business teams, as well as through analysis of key business information and drivers. The Sr. Finance Analyst / Accountant I conducts in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience (Finance, Accounting, Business)
• 2+ years in finance or accounting, with experience in forecasting and analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Proven ability to problem solve, and multi-task.
• Ability to influence and work with all levels of employees.
• Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex modeling), financial software (e.g., ERP systems). Experience with Oracle/ Oracle Cloud preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Audit Experience a plus
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets to predict performance and support strategic initiatives.
• Monitor budget adherence, analyze P&L statements, and create comprehensive reports to explain financial trends.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and regularly monitor budget adherence, identifying areas for cost optimization.
• Lead the physical inventory audit processes including, but not limited to: pulling test samples, coordinating with the auditor, reconciliation of inventory.
• Manage Fixed assets for the site from implementation to completion for proper accounting.
• Assist in preparation of Capital Project approvals, project management.
• Define and track key performance indicators to assess company financial health.
• Review and optimize accounting systems, internal controls, and workflows for efficiency.
