About The Position

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience (Finance, Accounting, Business)
• 2+ years in finance or accounting, with experience in forecasting and analysis.
• Ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Proven ability to problem solve, and multi-task.
• Ability to influence and work with all levels of employees.
• Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex modeling), financial software (e.g., ERP systems).

Nice To Haves

• Audit Experience a plus
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Oracle/ Oracle Cloud preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets to predict performance and support strategic initiatives.
• Monitor budget adherence, analyze P&L statements, and create comprehensive reports to explain financial trends.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and regularly monitor budget adherence, identifying areas for cost optimization.
• Lead the physical inventory audit processes including, but not limited to: pulling test samples, coordinating with the auditor, reconciliation of inventory.
• Manage Fixed assets for the site from implementation to completion for proper accounting
• Assist in preparation of Capital Project approvals, project management.
• Define and track key performance indicators to assess company financial health.
• Review and optimize accounting systems, internal controls, and workflows for efficiency.
