About The Position

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical expert and leader supporting complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role calls for an adaptable, team-oriented leader who can drive continuous improvement, mentor junior team members, and address challenging diagnostic issues in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will be evaluated on advanced technical skills and leadership capabilities. The technician performs advanced vehicle diagnostics, repairs, installations, and inspections; provides technical guidance and remote troubleshooting; and uses specialized tools to resolve complex electrical, high-voltage, and network faults. The role also encompasses mentoring, quality verification, process standardization, parts operations, technical documentation, root-cause analysis, and professional engagement with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
