About The Position

The Senior Executive Strategy & Planning Manager is a key member of a senior executive’s Chief of Staff organization, playing a pivotal role in shaping and supporting the organization’s strategic initiatives and leading the development of AI agent-driven automation across the Chief of Staff function. This role sits at the center of the Product & Engineering (P&E) organization’s leadership operating model, working directly with the CIO and their senior leadership team in a fast-paced environment to ensure the organization is moving with clarity, alignment, and velocity against its most important priorities. The role provides a unique opportunity to work with and learn from some of the senior-most technology leaders in the company. The work of this role spans five interconnected areas: Strategic materials development. This role owns creation of high-visibility content, including Board of Directors presentations, and executive-level materials reviewed by the CEO and senior company leadership, developed collaboratively with the Chief of Staff, CIO, and P&E senior leaders. Requires the ability to navigate a large, complex organization to locate subject matter experts, validate data points, and surface accurate insights about P&E programs to build strategic materials. Provides the opportunity to create strategic narratives together with senior org leaders. Rhythm of Business. This role supports the rhythm of business across the P&E leadership team, including driving agenda development, coordinating meetings and key forums, and ensuring the right conversations are happening at the right time. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying topics for discussions in the CIO’s staff meeting, recurring VP meetings, and VP+ team offsites, based on the organization’s progress against top priorities and the strategy. Quarterly Delivery Plan ownership. This role works in tandem with operational teams, keeps the quarterly delivery plans current, and brings an informed perspective on quarterly organizational goal setting based on progress and strategic direction from senior leadership. AI agent development. This role will lead development of AI agent solutions end to end (brainstorming through creation/scaling) to streamline recurring work across the Chief of Staff function, with the potential to scale proven solutions more broadly. This is a defining priority of the role, and unique opportunity to operate at the forefront of how P&E is reimagining ways of working. Executive briefing and communications. Supports recurring and ad hoc briefing functions reaching the highest levels of the company. The differentiating capability is navigating people and systems to construct an accurate, quality, and credible story quickly. At various times this role will also serve as a proxy for the Chief of Staff, extending the Chief of Staff’s reach across functional partners and driving priorities forward. Success in the role requires exceptional business acumen, discretion, a sense of urgency, strong project management skills, collaborative relationship-building, and executive presence. Equally important is hands-on experience with AI tools and an eagerness to keep experimenting, building, and growing as an agent developer. Experience in strategy or management consulting is highly valued, given how much of this role centers on structuring complex problems, building and maintaining relationships, and constructing credible narratives at speed.
