About The Position

The Sr Escrow Data Analyst will assist Escrow Management (Loan Administration) with overseeing the day-to-day functionality of automated reports, which includes responsibility for troubleshooting errors, enhancing aged reports, identifying control gaps, as well as providing training to newly hired Escrow Data Analysts. These essential functions are fundamental to the role, and must be performed on-site, as they cannot physically be performed remotely. In addition, the Company has determined that an in-person presence is important to critical components of our work, including oversight, training, collaboration, and productivity. Items not marked () as essential on-site may still require partial on-site work to perform the role satisfactorily.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 5+ years’ data warehousing, analytics, and reporting experience.
  • 2+ years’ residential mortgage loan servicing experience.
  • Expert knowledge with Microsoft Excel and SQL (SSMS and SSRS).
  • All employees are required to have smart phones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Microsoft Authenticator.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the day-to-day reporting functions for the Escrow group, including managing projects for troubleshooting and enhancements.
  • Partner with the business unit and/or management team to identify analytic needs and develop end to end process flows.
  • Lead projects from requirement gathering to completion, including monitoring progress to ensure project goals are achieved timely.
  • Utilize SQL as query languages to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Create and maintain documentation of reporting, end user processes, and training materials.
  • Provide training to new hires regarding how to maintain and update queries as needed.
  • Be a subject matter expert of escrow data fields, bulk production reporting, and identifying automation opportunities.
  • Performs other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.
