About The Position

Farnsworth Group is seeking a technically focused Sr. Engineering Manager to provide engineering, staff support, and QC/QA services for transportation roadway and street projects. This role will serve local, statewide, and nationwide clients in support of multiple planning and design projects. The primary responsibilities include engineering, supporting, and providing QC/QA for projects related to transportation planning and design, developing and mentoring staff, collaborating with other disciplines, developing and maintaining client relations, and establishing and maintaining budgets and schedules. The successful candidate will work in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and Company.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program
15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experience
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Experience working on and with DOT, County, and Local Agency projects
Proven leadership skills with engineering staff
Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
Ability to effectively manage clients and deliver successful projects
Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously
Working experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of MicroStation, CONNECT, and ORD.
