About The Position

As the Sr. Electro-Mechanic, you will provide essential electrical/electronic and mechanical maintenance support for process machinery. This role involves performing repairs and diagnostics on machinery, equipment, and controls, as well as conducting thermal scans and vibration analysis. You will be responsible for preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment, with a specific focus on DC servo motors, CNC controls, and Fanuc robot maintenance and repairs. The position requires maintaining technical competence in advancing technology, programming knowledge of PLCs, and proficiency in maintaining AC/DC circuits, DC equipment and controls, single-phase motors, three-phase systems, power supplies, and PLCs. You will utilize power tools and instrumentation for repairs, modifications, and maintenance of production equipment, track and record production downtime, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems. A key aspect of this role is identifying root causes through collaboration with Engineering and understanding the electrical/electronic and mechanical systems that support process machinery and equipment. You will also manage HMI and PLCs, gain increased knowledge of PLC programming and root cause analysis, and develop a comprehensive understanding of all incoming machines and equipment, including pumps, hydraulics, electric motors, servos, switches, relays, photo-electric sensors, and lasers. This role offers increased responsibility to work with Engineers on production-related projects, requires demonstrated proficiency with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and involves training new associates. Additionally, you will attend vendor training, equipment runoffs, and EHS sessions, and demonstrate and maintain a safe and respectful workplace environment, aligning behaviors with Rehlko’s core values: Curiosity, Trust, Pace, and Excellence. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or relevant experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the diagnosis and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment OR 2 years' experience in the diagnosis and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment and an Associate's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronic Technology
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
