The impact you’ll make in this role As an Electro Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment. This role works the 3rd shift (Sunday – Thursday; 9:00pm – 5:30am) and includes starting pay of $41.42/hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Training occurs on 1st shift (Monday – Friday; 5:00am – 1:30pm) for an estimated training period of 3 months – 1 year.

Requirements

  • Prior mechanical equipment maintenance experience or related plant/production experience
  • Possess a two (2) year technical degree OR two (2) years of mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance experience

Nice To Haves

  • General plumbing/pipefitting experience
  • General equipment rigging/millwright experience
  • General welding and fabrication experience

Responsibilities

  • Installing, modifying, repairing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, inspecting, and calibrating industrial and commercial equipment used in production, laboratory, office and utility areas.
  • Performing preventive maintenance procedures on production, facility, and safety equipment.
  • Providing support as needed to Production and Engineering Groups for installation and optimization of new equipment and controls.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and reporting unsafe work conditions, practices, or equipment to management immediately.
  • Performing additional work assignments, such as plumbing, pipefitting, equipment rigging, millwright tasks, welding, and fabrication.
  • Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
