About The Position

Parsons is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Strategic Accounts to join our Defense and Intelligence (D&I) team. We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader who understands our nation’s critical needs in the airborne, space, and cyber domains, including integrated multi-domain operations. The ideal candidate brings a broad and deep technical background to propose novel solutions to these critical mission needs, working across Parsons and building partnerships with like-minded industry partners. As a Senior Director of Strategic Accounts, you will develop and lead our account and business strategies designed to expand Parsons’ presence in key space, cyber, and airborne organizations across the DoD and IC. You will be responsible for identifying, defining, planning and establishing the initial execution of multi-domain / Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) pursuits and programs across the D&I portfolio. You will engage across the D&I portfolio to develop a consistent integration strategy that supports key D&I programs. You will provide strategic account direction, establish, and maintain client relationships in support of new and existing sales, identify and shape Internal R&D (IR&D) and Contract R&D (CR&D) efforts to enhance Parsons capabilities for these missions, and identify opportunities that position Parsons to expand its presence in airborne and space domains to achieve our overall business plan growth goals. You will engage in senior level discussions both internal to the company, across industry, and with customers. You will work with a team of like-minded individuals who are passionate about our mission and bring complementary subject matter expertise. You will have opportunities for both mentoring and mentorship within our organization. Finally, the ideal candidate is interested in joining a company with significant career growth opportunities that may include incubating and launching new organizations focused on these strategic growth initiatives, leading a business unit (Profit & Loss), and/or leading technology development programs.

Requirements

  • 15+ years diversified experience in Business Development, Program Management, and/or direct customer mission experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute customer contact plans to position Parson’s capabilities at the most senior levels as well as influence requirements and acquisition strategies.
  • Build and maintain a documented account strategy that identifies strategic mission and technology thrusts, investments, and opportunities within the account.
  • Established industry and government relationships, understanding, and track record of growth in the Space and Airborne landscape, focused on special programs including but not limited to the following example agencies: DAF RCO and AFLCMC Space RCO and SSC OSD/SCO National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).
  • Relationship builder who creates strategic alliances with organization leaders to align our capabilities, experience, investments, and resources.
  • Proven track record to build and successfully execute strategies that have led to creation and successful execution of large programs (i.e., $100M or greater).
  • Understanding of current market trends, mission needs, and differentiated technical solutions in this space.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Must be willing and able to travel, as required, 5-20%.
  • TS clearance with eligibility for SCI and SAP.

  • Subject Matter Expertise in space and/or airborne hardware and/or software solutions (payloads, components, subsystems).
  • Knowledge of Space Control Electronic Warfare (SCEW), offensive and defensive cyber, and/or Space Resiliency.

  • SAP Community experience.
