About The Position

The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition will own the recruitment strategy and growth for the Business Technology & Insights (BTI) business unit. This role involves partnering with BTI Leaders and HR Partners to define hiring goals, ensure all hiring needs are met with quality talent by building robust talent pools and candidate pipelines, within correct locations, and with a focus on economics. The position will utilize all relevant talent channels, strategically lead initiatives to enhance recruiting capability, and deliver quality talent. It also includes leading the development of candidate cultivation events, managing a team of leaders and recruiters, optimizing their deployment, and driving performance to achieve hiring goals. Furthermore, the role is responsible for driving training and development efforts, owning the plan for team resourcing and structure, and ensuring 100% systems hygiene and compliance. Collaboration with the broader Talent Acquisition leadership team is essential to support recruitment initiatives and drive consistency in performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred
10-12+ years of progressive business experience in Talent Acquisition, including a minimum of 5 years in a people management
Experience leading successful initiatives collaboratively across business functions
Successful track record of superior service delivery in a global environment
Demonstrated track record of achieving results to contribute significantly to the business
Consistent demonstration of integrity, collaboration, no limits mindset, objectivity, and delivering results consistently using global best practices.
Ability to effectively engage and lead senior executives, including OC members, in the development of solutions for Gartner’s most critical business initiatives
Must demonstrate high level of influence and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate organizational change utilizing a full spectrum of change methods
Strong analytical skill set
Excellent consulting, coaching and facilitation skills.
Proven ability to solve problems and think creatively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective presentation skills

Responsibilities

Partner with BTI Leaders and HR Partners to define hiring goals, ensure all hiring needs are met with quality talent by building robust talent pools and candidate pipelines, within correct locations, and a focus on economics
Utilize all relevant talent channels, strategically lead initiatives to enhance our recruiting capability and deliver quality talent
Lead the development of candidate cultivation events to source top talent where appropriate
Lead a team of leaders and recruiters – optimize their deployment across recruiting activities, and drive performance and productivity to achieve hiring goals
Drive training and development efforts across the recruiting team
Own plan for team resourcing and structure to grow/evolve as needed
Drive and maintain 100% systems hygiene and compliance across all systems of record
Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition leadership team to support recruitment initiatives and drive consistency in performance
