About The Position

As a Senior Program Director at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for leading a defense original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customer business team (CBT) and managing day-to-day business activities. You will lead a team of customer platform program managers who oversee production/sustainment contracts and customer-funded development programs. Your role is crucial in ensuring the business portfolio meets its Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for all financial metrics. You will drive execution and strategic growth by developing and implementing comprehensive customer business plans to maximize customer satisfaction, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions. You will manage the overall OEM customer relationship, oversee proposal strategies and negotiations within the portfolio, and ensure all platform development program execution meets contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Your team will be responsible for successful order entry and meeting customer production demands. Familiarity with customer aircraft platforms, Honeywell content, and capabilities is essential, along with an understanding of the business and competitive landscape to identify and develop platform growth strategies and business opportunities. As a people leader, you will focus on developing and supporting employees, building a strong, diverse team through recruitment, succession planning, retention, engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture. You will guide and mentor your team to cultivate a culture of excellence that drives business growth.
