Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience, including 5+ years with formal people-management experience, within B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Demonstrated experience building the positioning, messaging, and enablement assets (RFP content, security/compliance messaging, competitive battlecards) that support long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with empowered product team practices (e.g., Cagan, Torres) and continuous discovery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to and influencing executive-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team.
  • Strong competitive analysis and market research skills.

  • Experience in higher education, healthcare, payments, or another trust- and compliance-heavy vertical.
  • Experience marketing to two distinct audiences: an institutional buyer and a separate end user.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and owns product positioning and messaging across the portfolio.
  • Directs go-to-market strategy and execution for product launches, releases, and segment expansion.
  • Manage competitive intelligence gathering and synthetizing into actionable information.
  • Owns sales enablement content and programs, including battlecards, pitch decks, and RFP support materials.
  • Partners with product management during discovery to bring market and customer insight into product decisions.
  • Manages a team of product marketing professionals, including hiring, performance management, pay reviews, coaching, and development.
  • Sets the operational plan and priorities for the product marketing function, including resourcing across launches, enablement, and research.
  • Represents product marketing in executive-level planning and cross-functional strategy discussions.
  • Reports on product marketing performance to Sales, Marketing and executive leadership.
  • Conducts and synthesizes customer and market research, including win/loss analysis and customer interviews.
