North Carolina Asian Americans Together (NCAAT) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization committed to supporting equity and justice for all by fostering community among Asian American communities and allies in North Carolina through civic engagement, leadership development, grassroots mobilization, and political participation. NCAAT in Action (NCAATIA) is committed to supporting equity and justice for all by building political power among Asian Americans and allies in North Carolina through voter education, progressive advocacy, and leadership development. This role will oversee and strategically guide NCAAT/IA’s Development Program, create and implement an annual Development plan, goals, and budget for both entities, and align staff and stakeholders around the plan. The position requires staying current with state and national trends, building knowledge of issues impacting Asian communities in NC, and finding, pursuing, and securing funding opportunities. The role also involves owning the grant writing process, developing and steering the strategy for individual giving, stewarding foundation relationships, and managing the entities' income and program spending for grants. Additionally, the Sr. Director will assist with Board fundraising and stewardship.
