Sr Director, Middle Office
About The Position
Delek US Holdings is a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company with a range of assets, including petroleum refining and logistics. Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day. Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals. This role has responsibility for a combination of activities in support of the trading effort (e.g., trade support, documentation). Staff in middle office functions are likely to support complex product areas (e.g., fixed-income, equity derivatives) and have a greater degree of knowledge of their product area than staff performing other operations functions. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy and vision of the organization. Requirements
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Six (6) or more years Management experience (Required)
- Fifteen (15) or more years Related experience (Required)
- No Licensure or Certification Required.

- Understand advanced concepts in creating, verifying results for, and modifying mark-to-market, volumetric positions, and decomposition of risks to support a dynamic portfolio of physical and financial instruments
- Research market movements and conditions to understand the impacts on the risk portfolio and validate those results are consistent with market fundamentals and trading strategies
- Lead and develop junior members of the staff and the management team with a goal of growing talent and improving performance
- Evaluate staff and recruit talent across the organization to build and contribute to Delek’s overall talent pool
