About The Position

ColourPop is looking for a Senior Director, E-Commerce to lead the e-commerce business across DTC and Amazon. This leader will be responsible for end-to-end P&L and contribution margin performance by channel, and will manage the team responsible for the website, merchandising, and customer experience. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive the day-to-day strategy and operations of the business to achieve revenue and profitability targets. The role is based in Sherman Oaks, CA and is hybrid, with 3+ days/week in-office.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role with direct P&L responsibility, including ownership of contribution margin by channel
  • Demonstrated experience scaling DTC and Amazon businesses
  • Experience managing merchandising, email, and product teams
  • Excellent understanding of web analytics and ecommerce levers to drive revenue across DTC and marketplace channels
  • Strong commercial, marketing, and tech background with strong financial acumen
  • Appetite for working in a fast-paced, diverse, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills, and exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Results oriented and driven to achieve results
  • Fast learner and curious to problem solve and help build solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Beauty industry experience with high sku count collections strongly preferred
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence, Shopify, and G-Suite is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end P&L and contribution margin performance
  • Develop the programming calendar to achieve revenue and profitability targets across all channels — including promotions, launches, and collaborations
  • Drive merchandising strategy
  • Grow the Amazon business by optimizing product listings, advertising, promotions, and Brand Store experience
  • Work closely with Demand Planning to align on forecasts and inventory needs across channels dictated by calendar
  • Report out on performance and KPIs by channel weekly and monthly — including revenue, traffic, conversion, AOV, and contribution margin
  • Manage website operations including troubleshooting, order management, content launches, and QA of all content on site
  • Manage website design, market research, and budgeting
  • Present plans for new advances and initiatives to improve ColourPop’s online presence and sales across channels
  • Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, and reporting
  • Develop a content calendar and oversee website upload and landing page development
  • Review security of checkout pages and payment procedures
  • Review copy and legal disclaimers to verify their accuracy; serve as the liaison between the legal team and marketing to ensure compliance with collaborations
