About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a Sr. Director of Dining Services to oversee day-to-day foodservice operations at CHRISTUS Highlands in Shreveport, Louisiana. The role leads a team, manages client relationships and account profitability, and supports talent development. The position is responsible for operating the department within the approved budget while delivering value to the client, maintaining superior food quality, and integrating dining services with the facility’s overall plan of operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise.
• Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience, including inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Must be forward-thinking, proactive, and the face of the company.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of additional experience.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• ServSafe® certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client maximum value for dollars spent.
• Ensure the food offered is of superior quality.
• Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Maintain excellent relationships with guests, clients, and other departments within the community.

• Foster strong interdepartmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.
